Pablo Picasso said: “The art is a lie that makes us see the truth.”

What illustrates my images?
I think my works illustrate something that can’t be done in reality, but that sets the imagination and expresses some of the frustration and pain that I experience on a daily basis due to my schizophrenia.

My illustrations make me happy, and make me move the focus from the mind to something completely different. Therefore, I consider my art as an emotional valve – it gives me drains, it makes things easier, and it relieves.
I am trying to take the viewer into my world in the hope that it will give insight and understanding. And I hope that others will be able to relate to the emotions that lie behind the manipulations.
